Welcome to Garment School, where you will create a set of casual separates that work together and will fit seamlessly into your existing wardrobe. You will create a dropped shoulder top with two options for length that is a great layering piece and a perfect pair of easy going elastic waist pants that you will be able to add pockets to and wear anywhere!
Sizes XS-4XL
Skill level - Beginner - Able to thread and use your sewing machine independently.
Skills Learned - Understanding a Pattern, Bias tape application, Pockets, Elastic Waistband,
Hemming, and Attaching Sleeves
Materials Needed- (students will receive a 15% discount on class supplies purchased at Sew to Speak)
- 100 Acts of Sewing Patterns - Tunic #1 and Pants # 1
- Fabric for the 2 patterns - check patterns for the amount of fabric for your size
- Matching thread
- Tracing Paper - 5 yards
Please plan time to wash and iron all fabrics prior to the first class.
