Ages 8+. This 2 hour class is an introduction to machine sewing for younger seamsters.  We will make a cute drawstring bag with liner. Bunny Softie with Emily

Felt Finger Puppets. With Emily

Beginner’s Pillow Class with Michelle Thomas
Join us in a beginner pillow class and learn a standard pillow with zipper and an envelope style pillow with cording.  You will choose which style you will be making in class and instruction will be provided on both so you can try the other one at home.  You can choose your pillow dimensions. 1 Class. Baby Gift Set Class with Michelle Thomas

Felt and Fabric Flower Accessories with Emily

Napkins and Placemats with Michelle Thomas
A beginners class where we will make a napkin and placemat set using a mitered corner technique.  We will also learn how to use the edge stitch foot or rolled edge foot if you have them (optional).  A fun class that will dress up your holiday table!  1 Class. Pillow Case Dress with Michelle Thomas              
This style dress was made originally from old pillowcases but we use fun cotton fabric to make this cute and simple dress or top. In this class you will learn French seams and bias tape application. Intro to Machine Sewing with Michelle Thomas
This class is for a true beginner who wants to learn the basic operation of their machine.  We will review some basic sewing terminology, wind a bobbin, thread the machine and construct a simple wallet.  You will come away with an understanding of your machine operation, how to use seam allowance guides, how to use fusible interfacing and various other tips so you can feel confident to try projects on your own.

Gadget Sleeve with Amanda
Make a fun protective sleeve your ipad, Nook, Kindle or other tablet/e-reader.  The protective sleeve will allow you to carry your gadget inside another bag without having to worry about bumps. Pajama Pants with Michelle Thomas
In this beginner class you will use an existing pair of pants to draft a pattern for a new pair of pajama pants.  You will learn how to do an elastic waistband and make ruffles or cuffs for the bottom of the pants.  A serger will be available if you choose to finish the inside seams.  The PJ’s can be for an adult or a child. Window Design with Pat Wax
This class is for sewers who want to design their own window treatments. Students should come to class with window measurements and a design plan. We will discuss widths and lengths, fullness and lining options.  We will discuss rod treatments, calculate yardage, cut out our treatments, and begin to construct the treatments.                          2 Classes. Tuesday, March 6 & 13 or June 19 & 26, 6-8pm $60.

Reversible Laptop Tote or Messenger Bag with Pat Wax
In this class you can make either a messenger bag or laptop tote. Anna Tunic/Dress with Heather Riegle

Coin Quilt with Mary Dugan
This class will teach the beginning quilter the proper method of cutting fabric using a rotary cutter, acrylic ruler and mat.   We will  explore techniques for piecing and binding a quilt.  Plus you will have the option to add "pick" stitches to your quilt using perle cotton. This class meets 5 times, Mondays, April 30, May, 7, 14, 21 and 28, 6-8pm. $80.

Single Girl Quilt with Mary Dugan
Make your own single girl quilt using the Denyse Schmidt pattern.  Learn to use templates, sew curves and decipher quilt patterns. You can make the same quilt seen in the Pottery Barn catalog - using your own choice of fabrics!  See store sample.

Colette Lady Grey Coat with Heather Riegle 
The Colette Lady Grey coat is a "short wrap coat with princess seams, perfect for between seasons. Has a very wide collar, 3/4 length sleeves".  This coat is fully lined and closes with one internal and one external button, and includes a wide self-fabric tie belt."  An ideal class for students with a progressive knowledge of sewing. 2 Classes.

Colette Parfait Dress with Heather Riegle
This class offers the experience of garment construction through use of a pattern.  During this class you will learn to gather, create button-holes and insert an invisible zipper.  Can be worn as "a sundress or layered as a pinafore style in cooler weather". 2 Classes. The Liverpool with Sheila Brex
This cute, versatile Amy Butler pattern features a fitted bodice with details and can be made as a shirt, tunic, or dress.  It will become a wardrobe staple that can be worn for all seasons.  Along with basic sewing techniques, you will learn how to make a collar and stand, cuffs, and shirt placket.  For the intermediate sewer. 3 Classes.

The Colette Rooibos Dress with Heather Riegle
