Intro to Machine Sewing with Michelle Thomas
This class is for a true beginner who wants to learn the basic operation of their machine. We will review some basic sewing terms and get you started on your first finished piece, a simple wallet. 1 Class. Beginner’s Pillow Class with Michelle Thomas
Join us in a beginner pillow class and learn a standard pillow with zipper and an envelope style pillow with cording. Pajama Pants with Michelle Thomas
In this beginner class you will use an existing pair of pants to draft a pattern for a new pair of pajama pants. You will learn how to do an elastic waistband and make ruffles or cuffs for the bottom of the pants. A serger will be available if you choose to finish the inside seams. The PJ’s can be for an adult or a child. You should be able to thread and operate your machine. 1 Class. Wed, Feb. 15, 6-9pm. Cost $38
NEW Baby ‘Sleep’ Quilt with Mary Dugan
Using Denyse Schmidt’s Proverbial Quilt Pattern, you can make this sweet 40” X 50” quilt for your baby or toddler. The shoppe sample has the word SLEEP across the bottom, but you can choose the word, name or phrase that works. If you would like to quilt with free motion quilting, you will need a free motion foot {or darning foot} and be able to cover or drop the feed dogs on your sewing machine. Coin Quilt with Mary Dugan
This class will teach the beginning quilter the proper method of cutting fabric using a rotary cutter, acrylic ruler and mat. We will explore techniques for piecing and binding a quilt. Plus you will have the option to add "pick" stitches to your quilt using perle cotton. This class meets 5 times, Mondays, April 30, May, 7, 14, 21 and 28, 6-8pm. $80.
Anna Tunic with Heather Riegle
You love the Amy Butler’s Barcelona skirt, now make an Amy Butler top with Heather. This class is perfect for learning to use a pattern. You can make it tunic length or longer. It has a yoke, lining and buttons with loops. Come in to see the beautiful class sample.

Window Design with Pat Wax
This class is for sewers who want to design their own window treatments. Students should come to class with window measurements and a design plan. We will discuss widths and lengths, fullness and lining options. We will discuss rod treatments, calculate yardage, cut out our treatments, and begin to construct the treatments. 2 Classes. Design Your Own Modern Quilt with Mary Dugan
Learn to make a fresh and modern quilt of your own! We will cover sewing a wonky log cabin block, mariposa block, wonky stars and a variety of border options. Colette Lady Grey Coat with Heather Riegle
The Colette Lady Grey coat is a "short wrap coat with princess seams, perfect for between seasons. Has a very wide collar, 3/4 length sleeves". This coat is fully lined and closes with one internal and one external button, and includes a wide self-fabric tie belt." An ideal class for students with a progressive knowledge of sewing. 2 Classes.

Colette Parfait Dress with Heather Riegle
This class offers the experience of garment construction through use of a pattern. During this class you will learn to gather, create button-holes and insert an invisible zipper. The Liverpool with Sheila Brex
This cute, versatile Amy Butler pattern features a fitted bodice with details and can be made as a shirt, tunic, or dress. It will become a wardrobe staple that can be worn for all seasons.
